Clearance Level 4

Contained Anomaly: CTA-130

Object Class: Vincla

Containment Procedures: While not in use, CTA-130 is to be placed within a standard storage locker for anomalous items. Any personnel of security level 3 or lower found using CTA-130 should be immediately reprimanded. CTA-130 should only be used on anomalies considered to be high-level threats to the Corporation. Containment via CTA-130 should only be performed for a period of no less than 72 hours. Any anomaly contained for longer via CTA-130 should be considered breached.

Description: CTA-130 resembles that of a pair of rusty and bloodied shackles connected by chains. Upon an anomalous entity being shackled by both ends of CTA-130, it will lose all of its anomalous properties for the duration of its shackling. Upon an anomalous entity being shackled for a period of over 72 hours, the entity will suddenly be released from the shackles. After being released past the 72-hour mark, the entity will have its aggression heightened. The entity will then attempt to attack any moving object in its vicinity for a duration of 24 hours. These effects are reduced the more intelligent the entity is. In the event that CTA-130 is used on the same anomalous entity multiple times, CTA-130's anomalous properties will exponentially diminish on that entity.

Discovery Log:
CTA-130 was discovered within a previously unknown cavern beneath the Krakatoa volcano; writing was found engraved on the walls within the room in which CTA-130 was discovered.

Transcription of The Writing:

120, 120 years I've been shackled. The freedom that was taken from me all those years ago. I will get revenge on those that contain, contain people, or things like me with no remorse. I see your little tribe of paranormal containers has grown a lot. There's no stopping me now.

Investigations lead us to believe that CTA-013 left this message. Although it is unknown how CTA-013 escaped CTA-130.
