Containment Procedures: The Corporation is to prevent the growth of grass that takes place 5000+ meters above sea level. The containment of the fluid produced by CTA-194 is not required due to it being non-anomalous. Grass is to be grown at RF-194 for the study of CTA-194's anomalous properties. The history of the product Mountain Dew^TM is to be altered to maintain normalcy.

Description: CTA-194 is an anomalous phenomenon involving grass at 5000+ meters above sea level. All grass above this altitude will begin producing a substance similar to that of Mountain Dew^TM. This substance will be produced at a rate of 1 milligram every 24 hours. All of the substances produced via this method are completely non-anomalous, however.

All grass affected by CTA-194 will contain a high level of glucose, which results in the grass becoming sticky. Upon consumption of grass affected by CTA-194, a subject will not be able to sleep for 24 hours. Consumption of over ten grams of grass affected by the CTA-194 phenomenon will cause a subject to go into a diabetic coma for 24 hours per blade of grass consumed.

History: CTA-194 was initially discovered when Barney and Ally Hartman discovered this anomalous phenomenon in the 1940s. This sparked the creation of the product "Mountain Dew^TM". After an information leak in 1964 resulted in the way that Mountain Dew^TM is produced being leaked, the CTA Corporation launched a widespread disinformation campaign. Later, the CTA Corporation took over the manufacturing of Mountain Dew^TM under the guise of the product being sold to Pepsi. CTA-194 remains a large source of revenue for the Corporation.

Later on, in 2001, the phenomenon of CTA-194 was discovered by the Elenchos Parasiton. This resulted in multiple Mountain Dew^TM "production plants" being raided by the organization. The attack resulted in a large-scale feud between the Corporation and the Elenchos Parasiton. This lasted until 2006 when the Corporation managed to relocate a majority of the Mountain Dew^TM "production plants" to more protected locations. Following this, all Mountain Dew^TM "production plants" have been guarded by at least five members of MF-54-A19 at a time. Spys embedded within the Elenchos Parasiton confirmed that the consumption of Mountain Dew^TM within the organization was strictly prohibited from 2001 onwards.

In 2011, investigations by the The Ghost Hunters led them to find the CTA-194 phenomenon. This nearly resulted in a wide-scale breach of secrecy. Corporation web crawlers were programmed to immediately remove any mention of the phenomenon from the internet. Interactions with members of The Ghost Hunters directly were not required due to the fact that people they'd tell offline would most likely consider them insane.

From 2013-2022, a war broke out between the Corporation, Elenchos Parasiton, and Paranatural Investigation Institution. This war dubbed the "Great Mountain Dew War" was fought over the "production plants" of Mountain Dew^TM. This war resulted from the CTA Corporation wanting to make a profit off of CTA-194, the Elenchos Parasiton wanting to destroy all Mountain Dew due to its anomalous manufacturing, and the Paranatural Investigation Institution wanting to "cure" the Mountain Dew^TM. This resulted in a large number of casualties for all of the organizations involved. However, the Corporation won this war after deploying MF-Gevurah-6 resulting in the retreat of the other organizations.
