Containment Procedures: Several outposts have been established around the globe to continuously monitor CTA-034’s orbital position. If his trajectory brings him within range of one of these outposts, personnel are to attempt contact. Should communication be established, CTA-034 is to undergo a brief interview and mental evaluation before he moves beyond the outpost’s communication range.
Description: CTA-034 is a Caucasian male from Massachusetts whose real name is Patrigov Wilson. A member of the Corporation, Wilson was selected to participate in a mission to land on the lunar surface. However, during the mission, the shuttle he was aboard suffered a catastrophic breach, ejecting him into the vacuum of space.
At the time of the incident, Wilson was wearing a white spacesuit. He now orbits Earth at approximately 7.8 kilometers per second. Despite being exposed to the vacuum of space, Wilson has survived through unknown anomalous means and has remained in orbit for approximately seven years. During this time, he has also demonstrated no apparent need for food or water.
Following his disappearance, a cover story was established to conceal the incident from the public. Wilson’s family was informed that he had been lost at sea during a routine business trip to Alaska.
Despite the Corporation’s continued efforts, CTA-034 has begun to show signs of losing touch with reality. During interviews, he has occasionally stopped mid-conversation to comment on the number of stars visible around him or make other unusual remarks. His mental state appears to be deteriorating, and communication with CTA-034 is expected to cease soon due to the gradual failure of his radio equipment.
Efforts to develop a method of retrieving CTA-034 remain ongoing. However, his high orbital velocity and constantly changing position make a successful rescue operation extremely difficult. The Corporation continues to explore every available option to bring him home before communication is lost.
